It later expanded into temporary assistant work for the company's co-presidents, which included managing schedules and meetings, organizing presentation spaces, and setting up screeners. The position also offered a close look at distribution, acquisitions, and film festival tracking.

At Project X, the coverage leaned into horror, genre, and offbeat material at the company behind Ready or Not. The role included analyzing incoming scripts and source material, sitting in on conversations with directors, learning how development works at a larger genre-focused company, and supporting the team's broader development process.

Skydance MediaJun 2025 — Aug 2025Television Development & Current Intern

This role spanned Skydance's television creative teams, with additional exposure to the company's sports, film, and interactive media divisions. On the TV side, I sat in on business, creative, and development meetings, watched pitches from outside writers, and evaluated scripts, comics, and short stories for development potential. The work touched both development and current series, and included shadowing coordinators across departments.

This role focused on genre material across the company's slate. I read scripts, comics, novels, and other source material; wrote notes on projects in active development; analyzed material for story and adaptation potential; and helped assemble pitch decks and other pitch materials.
